Hello all you beautiful beings!
We are so excited to have finally launched our beautiful Chakra Chart into this mystifying and magnificent universe. It has been an inspiring and exciting journey which we have briefly shared on our website,
http://www.integratinghealingstyles.com/
Today I want to introduce you to our chart and make a few suggestions on how we thought you can enjoy it!
First of all we will be doing a monthly blog and will be following the chakras from base to crown. So for June we welcome you to explore your Base Chakra with us.
A wonderful way to start the day is by lighting a candle or two to gently shift one from dream time into the action of the day. In this case, light a red candle as an intention to connect and nurture your Base Chakra.
If you have a little altar or sacred space, arrange some of the Base Chakra Crystals on or around it. We suggest Red Jasper, Garnet or Hematite. In this way they are there to create the vibration of connection to your Base Chakra, as well as being readily available to place in your hand for your meditation. You can even slip them into your jeans pocket to help maintain a lovely grounded awareness throughout the day.
I was given a beautiful Meditation by Spirit the other day to share with you! It is focused on the Base Chakra to help us maintain our connection to the earth (and the moon astrologically) to help us to ground ourselves and provide us with a feeling of stability and security! Something we are often challenged on in this day and age of ‘super fast and furious everything.’ You will find it here or on our website.
We also suggest a Mantra if you’d prefer something louder – LAM. It is recommended that you chant a mantra 108 times in order to raise the vibration of your body, so have some prayer beads handy to help with your chanting.
Either before or after your meditation we have some lovely Yoga Asanas/ exercises to help you along. For example, some simple leg stretches, contracting the perennium and The Cobbler.
Bath Time! We suggest a shower in the morning, to excite all those sleepy cells into action and a bath at night to sooth and calm them after a hard day's work. Now you can use any of the essential oils, such as Patchouli, Vetivert or Cedarwood. Remember to use a base oil or a dash of milk (feel like a queen) in your bath. Alternatively, a few drops on a sponge for your shower! Most importantly please consult your health care professional to check that these oils are compatible for you at this time! You can also use our therapist guide on our website for this purpose.
The sense connected to your base chakra is smell. What better to do than take a walk in your garden/nature and breath in the smell of the earth, which is the base chakra element.
Did you know that you can even bring your base chakra balancing into your everyday cooking! Anything in a tomato base will do... stew, pasta, hey even your pizza! Try out a beetroot juice if you are cleansing too! Remember you can also use the Ayurvedic Herbs here e.g. Ashwaganda in a tomato bean stew.
Whilst you are cooking your delicious meal, why not play one of the great classical masters’ concertos in the musical note of this chakra - C.
Lastly, bring your base chakra awareness into your every day routine. For example, if you do come across a red traffic light, a bank queue or whilst waiting for your child to come out of school. Take this God given moment to breath and say the base chakra affirmation,‘ I am abundant, nurtured and supported!’
If you are facing more specific challenges in this area, please refer to our chart for suggestions that may suit your vibration, e.g. Tissue Salts, Bach® Remedies, SA Flower Essences, Indigenous Herbal Remedies or Aura-Soma®.
Once again please consult your health care professional if you are unsure as to what is what! Alternatively please contact any therapist on our Therapist Guide section of our website.(

Most importantly may the focus on the base chakra this month bring you a sense of being grounded, connected and protected!
With gratitude we wish you blessings on your day!
