As a MetaVarsity learner, you begin with the Introduction to Metaphysics Course, comprised of four modules, namely Self-Awareness, Control of the Mind, Energy Perception and Psychic/Intuitive Development. This course provides you with an excellent grounding in the major concepts of metaphysics. In particular, it addresses the effective integration of physical, emotional, mental and spiritual aspects of self.
In the Applied Metaphysics Course, a highly recommended next step in development, each of the subjects explored in the Introduction to Metaphysics Course is further expanded upon. This course qualifies you to continue on to complete a Diploma of Metaphysics, specialising in either Intuitive Practice or Energy Healing.
How to register for a MetaVarsity Course?
To register for a tutorial-based course (distance learning plus classes), contact us by phone or email and we will send you registration details for the next tutorial in your area.
To register for an online only distance-learning course, go to our Online Store. Select the module* you would like to register for and the system will guide you through the online registration and payment process. Within 48 hours we will set you up on the Learner Portal, MetaVarsity’s online learning system, which will then notify you of your user name and password and how to get going on the Learner Portal. For an overview of the Learner Portal, click here.
Should you wish to register for a physical pack course in South African Rands (ZAR) and not the online only option, then download a manual registration form and complete all the required details. Once your payment has been processed, your module pack will be dispatched to you and our administration team will load you onto the Learner Portal.
* Please note that some modules have prerequisites.
What happens next when I sign up for a distance-learning course?
You will receive a welcome email, giving you your password for the Learner Portal, which allows access to your learner information. On first accessing the Learner Portal, you will be required to digitally sign a Learner Agreement.
Should your module include audio CDs, you will be able to access these downloadable files, your e-workbook and any other included resources from the Resource Library on the Learner Portal. Click here for more information on the Learner Portal.
The facilitation audio CD files are a step-by-step guide to the course process. Each section is introduced, and you are then directed to the relevant pages in your theory workbook and recommended reading (if applicable). You will also find a module guide included in your resources that indexes audio tracks, assessment packs and workbook chapters so that you always know your way around your learning journey.
All development exercises and meditations are documented to provide you with a record of your development progress. Templates for these, as well as for formal assessments, can be found on the Learner Portal.
A MetaVarsity facilitator is allocated to you to support you through the process and they will answer any questions you may have related specifically to your current module. Your facilitator also assesses all your development work and documented exercises, which are submitted via the Learner Portal, and then returned to you with feedback.
All MetaVarsity courses are outcomes-based. At the end of each module, you are required to complete a summative assessment. This measures your competence against the assessment criteria of the specific outcome for that module. In the event of you being assessed as 'Not Yet Competent', your facilitator will guide you to competency on the outstanding criteria.
Each module has a maximum time in which you have to complete it, and should you not be able to do so, you can extend your access for a further 1 month by purchasing a "top-up token".
On successful completion of the Introduction to Metaphysics Course or the Applied Metaphysics Course, you will receive a course certificate. On successful completion of the Diploma of Metaphysics, you will receive a diploma and are invited to our annual graduation ceremony.
